A Saratoga Springs-based dog walking business has come up with a fun way to make their daily strolls more memorable for their four-legged customers and themselves. They achieve this by taking incredible group photos.
Tim Pink and Erin Prevost are in charge of Saratoga Dog Walkers, and they organize group walks for about 50 dogs every week. They don’t discriminate against any breed and group the dogs according to their size. The “Mid Day Pack Walk Program” is a hit among dog owners, as it provides their pets with a fun and healthy afternoon activity.
Tim shares that dogs have natural instincts to travel in groups, but sadly, many dogs never get to experience this. By grouping them together in regular walks, they create a sense of family among the dogs and help foster well-behaved behavior within the community.
Prior to introducing a new member to the furry group, Tim ensures to establish a good relationship with the existing dogs. He keenly observes how they interact with one another and evaluates their level of obedience. Tim also takes time to learn each dog’s name and unique characteristics, fostering a personal bond with them.
Every group walk lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, even during inclement weather. After the walk, all the dogs are returned home after being thoroughly cleaned to remove any mud or dirt. If the weather is too harsh, each pup is allowed to take their own pee break instead of going on the group walk.
Saratoga Dog Walkers’ Instagram page is an excellent place to find a plethora of photos from their pack walks all year long. The team consistently keeps things fresh by finding new and exciting places to explore, while taking breaks to capture precious moments through photography. It’s hard to imagine a dog photo account being boring, but this one is far from it. One of the standout features is the snaps of individual dogs trying to steal the spotlight, making it seem like they are taking a selfie with their pals.
Since beginning this endeavor in 2011, Tim has gathered a vast array of pack photos for perusal. Based on the visual evidence, it is evident that the Pack Walk initiative has a favorable influence on the canines’ compliance as they are all captured with remarkable clarity.
It is clear that Tim and Erin possess a true passion for their line of work, and the clients of Saratoga Dog Walkers share the same level of admiration towards them. The company has garnered an impressive 5-star rating on Facebook, which is authenticated. Although I am not a dog owner myself, I would have no hesitation in awarding them 5 stars based solely on the exceptional photos they have shared.
